About Me

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Brandon Spolsky a 23-year old dedicated game developer based in Chicago, IL, specializing in level design and narrative writing. My ultimate goal is to contribute to a game company and design amazing games ranging from RPG to FPS to Fighting to Horror and more!

Below you’ll see a collection of my game projects. I know I have quite a ways to go in the field but I am a hard worker, a quick learner, and I will not stop until I know everything I can about game development.

Blade of Attonement

[3D Third-Person Hack and Slash RPG] You thought you could finally retire from the life of being a royal knight. But now your wife, the love of your life, has been kidnapped by the evil vampire lord out for revenge. Use the spells you unlock and your trusty sword to cut down all who stand in your way.

The Last Knight

[2D Platformer] You are the only knight left in the castle as it falls under siege by horrific monsters. Get to your king and protect him at all costs. The only way to fight and traverse difficult environments is to use your dash ability.

Dungeons and Dragons

My all-time favorite non-digital game is Dungeons and Dragons. I often take the role of Dungeon Master, roleplaying all the NPCs and setting up the world or game experience for my players to go through. I have my own world of Ucenara where heroes are needed to battle malicious cults, disturbing undead, and cruel monsters of the underworld. I love designing intense boss battles with special abilities and interactable environments as well as creating deep character moments for the players based on their backstories. It’s another form of game design that brings me a lot of joy. I must note, the art layout I designed but it was actually drawn by a talented friend of mine. Below is a small adventure I wrote myself.
